In fact, you can take any route you like from the official European start point in the Czech Republic, and Mongol Rally teams who have time to spare will take in some European countries as well as major Russian cities and the more picturesque parts of Kazakhstan. Average race times are from 6 weeks to 3 months. However, as we will only have 3 weeks due to work commitments back on site, we will be taking a more direct route.
This will still necessitate driving days of 12 to 14 hours, with no days off to rest. We have approximately one day's lag time allocated in case of vehicle trouble.
