Dumb & Dumber buy an ambulance
Following months of searching, and a few failed attempts, we eventually found the right vehicle. We gave £1,900 to a mountain rescue charity, the Staffordshire Search & Rescue, in exchange for the ambulance. The vehicle is a custom-built Land Rover Discovery ambulance with a mere 70,000 miles on the clock.

Here's a photo of us collecting the vehicle - notice the smile on the chap in the middle as he off-loaded 2 tonnes of rust to us. We're happy the money is being used by the charity to buy search and rescue equipment, as Matthew wouldn't be able to sleep at night knowing what we've bought!
The Medical
Under closer scrutiny, back at MediaCity HQ, it became obvious that the ambulance wasn't going to pass its medical. We rushed it to intensive care, AFI kindly transported our patient to the Shawtons Intensive Care Unit to undergo major reconstructive surgery.
"It was touch and go whether she was going to pull through. We have had to carry out some major surgery. When we opened the back door it fell off and took most of the frame with it We have replaced the floor in the back and are now trying to make sure the roof will stay on."
